The 25th summer of the Seeds of Peace Camp is underway! During our annual flagraising ceremony, our oldest campers, who are here as part of an advanced leadership program, came together to present a collective speech of wisdom and guidance to our newest campers.
We look forward to our annual Bell Hill yearly program at the Bell Hill Meetinghouse with the focus on Seeds of Peace with Tim Wilson speaking (Sunday, July 30 at 2:30 p.m.). I hope that some of the Seeds who are at camp during this time will be able to be with us as well. Those of us in this Community who have been supporters of Seeds of Peace truly believe in and appreciate the work that goes on and are happy that Seeds is in our little Town. More people need to know about Seeds and the Bell Hill program will help to spread the word. We will have a volunteer Choir singing at this program, including people from outside our Town. They will be singing “Imagine” (Beatles) … so appropriate I think!
My deep personal gratitude to you Leslie, for this most important work! Thank you for the love and passion that you have for these young students of Peace and for your ever-loving guidance and leadership for this most noble of causes. You are truly amazing!
Love always
Patricia
Have a wonderful time at Seeds of Peace. May the Spirit of Love bless you all.
Leslie, thank you for sharing the opening ceremony. I first heard about your program through a UN Conference and have followed it ever since. Your 25-year program seems to be such a success!
Wow. Tim and Leslie have not aged a single day. Amazing! I was at the camp in 2001 and 2002, was never an active Seed, but the place really shaped my personality when I look back. Great job! I hope many alumni share my experience. Keep going guys–your work has impact!
