I would like to congratulate you on a remarkable and outstanding event, greatly contributing to the cause of peace and important for the next generation of people of the region who will enjoy its benefits.
I also take this opportunity of expressing my heartfelt appreciation for the warm hospitality you extended to me, in the context of the Seeds of Peace Middle East Youth Summit. There is no doubt that this is yet another step forward in the activities with which you have already been involved for a number of years.
The success of this meeting represents an accomplishment for us all, an achievement for all those who live in the region and will continue to reside here in the years to come. Your determination and tenacity of purpose are truly commendable, and for this I hold you in deep esteem.
I greatly enjoyed the interaction I had with the youth I met, and was indeed impressed by the faith they displayed on the issue of peace. It was interesting to observe their approach to the real dilemmas they were facing, and the friendly dialogue they held one with the other on how to find appropriate solutions to the existing problems in the region.
The questions they posed were pertinent and fundamental, and if these young people represent the next generation here, then I can only be but even more optimistic regarding the future, and your contribution in this respect is significant.
I am interested to learn the conclusions reached by these young people in connection to the meeting, and their concrete suggestions.
I sincerely hope the leaders of the region will keep an open mind to the suggestions made by the new generation, and even more so, will be ready to learn something from them.
With my renewed congratulations on your achievement, and the imposing involvement of leading personalities in this event and, above all, on your unflagging efforts for the advance of peace, I send you all my good wishes and best personal regards.
Sincerely yours,
