Jonathan is an educator and activist raised in Jerusalem. He holds a degree in World History from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with an emphasis on revolution and struggles for justice.
His path as an educator and activist was informed by his Seeds of Peace experiences: he attended the Seeds of Peace Camp as a teen in 2000 & 2002, and returned as a counselor 2019 and as part of Camp leadership in 2023.
Jonathan recently returned to Jerusalem after six years abroad. During those years away, he was the National Director of Hashomer Hatzair France, emissary at The International School for Peace for Refugees in Greece and was the Youth and Young Adults Director for the Reform movement in the United Kingdom. He also served two years as the program Director of Achvat Amim (Solidarity of Bations).
He volunteers as the president of the Kol Haneshama Reform congregation in Jerusalem and is vice chair of the national assembly of the Reform Movement in Israel.
