Claire started at Seeds of Peace as a logistics coordinator in 2007. Before this, she worked at the British Consulate in Jerusalem.

She received her B.A. in English Literature and Business Administration from Bethlehem University. Her father was a Palestinian surgeon and her mother is British—she can speak four languages. She is married to George Ayed and is the mother of four children.

Claire loves basketball; she played for her university team, as well as for local club team De La Salle. Her hobbies include swimming and fishing.
