In the summer of 2013, following a trip to Israel, Palestine, and Jordan and seeing some of the challenges faced by people in the region, Amera visited the Seeds of Peace International Camp in Maine. She witnessed first-hand the extraordinary scenes of hundreds of young people coming together in a place far away from home. This was a very powerful experience which reinforced the importance of Seeds of Peace’s work, inspiring her to get more involved.
