JERUSALEM | Forty Israeli, Palestinian, American, and UK Seeds took part in the 7th annual Mediation and Negotiation Seminar, led by faculty from the Harvard Law School Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program.
The four-day Bridging the Gap: How to Resolve Disputes Through Negotiation & Mediation Seminar was held January 11-14 in Nazareth.
Professor Bob Bordone, Founder of the Harvard Negotiation & Mediation Clinical Program, once again led the intensive training on the skills and theories of effective mediation and negotiation. He was joined by Florrie Darwin and Toby Berkman, both from the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
During a series of workshops, Seeds explored the concepts and intricacies of effective communication to challenge how to engage with each other and the difficult conversations and situations they deal with daily.
“This Seminar convincingly conveyed to me how negotiation is not a zero sum game,” said one participant. “This has changed how I will approach negotiation from now on.”
