AMMAN | Twenty Seeds from four delegations met at the Sharbil El Sheikh EcoPark in northern Jordan for a week-long ‘Paradigm Shifters’ (PS) program.
This is the first time that Seeds of Peace has held this leadership development program in the Middle East; the program is held every summer at the Seeds of Peace Camp in Maine.
Seeds from Egypt, Israel, Palestine, and Jordan gathered together to discuss the problems and conflicts surrounding their respective communities, as well as challenge the status quo of systems and structures in their respective countries.
Throughout the week, the Seeds gained insight on distributive leadership and learned about action-oriented and collaborative thinking. Participants built strong self-awareness of their core beliefs and values in order to incorporate them into effective project-building and goal-setting.
