Seeds of Peace is a great organization. My son Daniel works in the region with Seeds of Peace. I often follow him and watch the bridges he helps to build, and the outstanding people on all sides working for peace.
So great to see our Secretary of State drawing strength of conviction in Middle East peace from Seeds. I believe one day the negotiators will turn around and see that people have gone on ahead. They’ll be living and working together in a peace grown from Seeds in their midst.
I’m an old woman, with very little money. Unfortunately I’m unable to contribute what I’d like to to certain specific organizations. Seeds of Peace is an inspiration and is one of the most important to me. I wish I were younger, with more energy, and more funds, to be able to “make a difference” as Seeds of Peace is doing.
All I can do is wish you all you’ll need to reach your goals.
I am a father of a Palestinian Seed. As a Palestinian who is living inside of Palestine, I would like to share my appreciation for the effort you are making for peace between us and Israel. I hope you won’t give up, as what I know about you, when you start a job you like to finish it right.
I wish Israelis also will share the same feelings about you. ONLY peace can bring better future for all of us. We are very close to it, so let’s not to lose the great opportunity that we have now.
I know it’s hard for the government of Israel to decide between settlements and peace with the Palestinians. Palestinians have nothing more to give: we gave up 78% of our historical land.
Let us all pray and never give up, as the other options are not good for our children.

SO moving, from someone who knows so well the difficult path to peace, but also so hopeful and believing, as are the Seeds and the supporters of Seeds of Peace, that it IS achievable. This annual event, to which we all look forward, with riveting and powerful messages by well-chosen speakers, unites an audience committed to and supportive of Dialogue, Reconciliation, and Peace.
