National Youth Summit application open below
2021 National Youth Summit details
Who: Current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders from the United States.
Location: Everywhere! This is a virtual program.
Dates: July 11- 15, 2021
Overview: Join youth from cross the country as we gather virtually to build a national community that is committed to building change through collective action.
Throughout the week, you will participate in sessions and workshops focused on dialogue with others, building leadership skills, and taking action on a variety of social issues that face our communities.
We will also have three keynote sessions with speakers from across different professions, community organizing spaces, and more.
In our dialogue with others, we will dive into courageous conversations about systemic racism, hate speech, collaborative social justice organizing, and more. During the week you will identify your own personal projects for change and participate in sessions that help build an individual or collective plan for action in your local and national communities.
Cost: $500
We work hard to make sure that our programs are accessible to as many people as possible. Financially, this means offering scholarships at a variety of levels to all who need them. After your application has been submitted you will receive a link to our scholarship form. We ask that all participants make a meaningful contribution to their experience, whether this is $25, $200, or the full amount of the program. We do our best to ensure that no one is turned away due to financial reasons.
