In 1998, Seeds of Peace expanded to a new region for the first time, bringing together young leaders from the divided island of Cyprus, along with smaller delegations from Greece and Turkey.
Greek and Turkish Cypriots, living on opposite sides of the Green Line, met for the fist time at the Seeds of Peace Camp in Maine. Once home, they developed bicommunal projects to continue building bridges between their communities.
The Cyprus Program is now closed, having graduated over 250 Seeds.
