THE 2020 GATHER Fellowship application is now closed.
We are proud to announce our fifth annual Seeds of Peace GATHER Fellowship.
GATHER is a community of people who use their individual and collective power to meaningfully change the systems that perpetuate conflict and oppression. We recognize that change requires multiple approaches and for all of us to work in various ways across all elements of society. As a community, reaching beyond traditional boundaries and divides, we are a living example of the world that we are working to build and proof that it can exist.
CALL TO ACTION
Are you committed to leading change in your community? Are you developing a creative solution to address conflict in your community—whether as an entrepreneur, educator, artist, journalist, NGO professional, policymaker, activist, or otherwise?
We are looking for people like you!
As a GATHER Fellow, you will become part of a premier cohort of local and global leaders from across the Middle East, South Asia, Europe, and the U.S.
Leadership can be a lonely business—GATHER is therefore intentionally designed to support you and your work within the context of a trusting community.
You will be provided with the personalized support to advance your work, tools to hone your professional skill set, and access to a pool of funds to expand your impact.
OVERVIEW

Grow: Holistic project development powered by the GATHER Team combined with access to modest funding to help drive impact.

Amplify: Providing international platforms and visibility to showcase your work and amplify your project.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU
Project Development: We are investing in you because we believe in your ability to create real change. We are looking for individuals with ambitious plans and milestones that they will be held accountable to throughout the Fellowship process.
Teaching and Learning: We expect Fellows to be actively engaged in the high-level learning opportunities and open to input and feedback. We believe that Fellows can learn enormously from one another, and thus expect our Fellows to be prepared to share their skills and insights with one another in formal and informal settings.
Virtual Participation: Because of the international nature of this Fellowship, Fellows are expected to be active participants in a series of online meetings that occur throughout the Fellowship process and be readily available for ongoing email and phone communication with the GATHER team and each other.

TESTIMONIALS
“I realized that I have the potential to be a game-changer in this landscape, and am now building a network of powerful endorsers who can help me make meaningful and measurable change.” — Zoe, Knowledge Factory
“I feel that the people are without a doubt the greatest values in this program. Both the team and the Fellows became a strong supporting system that is crucial to conduct and to continue this work. This includes our time together, our regular communication and of course the POD Meetings, which is the deepest version of this special connection. — Liel, Divided Cities
I have learned so many things during this fellowship and I am so grateful. I have learned new ways of leadership from other fellows. I also have learned so much about strategic planning and leadership from Jonah and the staff. I started looking at things really differently in how to grow and keep scaling Activate Labs. — Monica, Activate Labs
