JERUSALEM | Seeds of Peace offered Palestinian and Israeli Seeds college and job application workshops in Ramallah and Haifa to develop their professional skills.
On October 28, six Palestinian Seeds took part in a professional development workshop at the Seeds of Peace office in Ramallah focused on college applications.
The workshop clarified the college application process, provided Seeds with content on writing successful personal statements, and offered personal feedback on admissions essays.
The training also provided the Seeds with tools to write effective resumes and cover letters, and prepped them for public speaking in the context of college and job interviews.
On February 24, six Israeli Seeds (Palestinian citizens of Israel) attended a job application workshop at Beit HaGefen in Haifa. The workshop helped them write their curricula vitae and cover letters and develop their networking skills.
Seeds of Peace’s Raffoul Saadeh, who organized both workshops, said the Seeds also worked hard on their job interview skills.
“They developed their elevator pitch and answered over 15 interview questions amongst one another in one-minute intervals,” he said.
