Members of the Seeds of Peace program spent months researching issues such as resources for learning disabilities, economics of public education and English Language Learners programs.
The sophomores, juniors and seniors discussed their research and potential solutions.
“These are just kids talking about what they think it ought to be, what it should look like, what happened for them,” said Timothy Wilson, director of the Maine Seeds of Peace program.
Wilson said the students hope to continue doing research each year.
