JERUSALEM | Over 100 Palestinian and Israeli Seeds gathered in Ramallah and Tel Aviv to reunite and kick off the programming year.
In Tel Aviv, 61 Israeli Seeds gathered in Hayarkon Park on September 28 to get to know each other better and share thoughts and reflections from the past year.
“Coming back home from camp was hard, I cried in my room for three days and didn’t want to see anyone,” said Ofir. “But seeing everyone here today makes me happy again, I feel empowered and ready for ‘the process’ to continue.”
The Seeds also talked about their expectations of the coming year and the schedule of programming events.
In Ramallah, 45 Palestinian Seeds met on October 7 to meet the new 2016 Seeds recently returned from Camp and learn more about upcoming Seeds of Peace programs.
The Seeds took part in small group discussions and sessions about social responsibility. During the second part, the Seeds engaged in a discussion and workshop about “normalization” and also explored ways to give back to their communities.
