MUMBAI | Fifteen Indian Seeds and their friends took part in a weekend facilitation and negotiation workshop near Karjat. The July 2-4 residential program was held in partnership with Pravah, a Delhi-based social justice organization.
Through activities like story telling, role-playing, and discussions, the Seeds explored various conflicts and how their identities relate to those conflicts.
“The training focused on an ‘inner to outer’ approach, from self awareness to positive change,” said Indian Programs Director Sagar Gangurde.
“Seeds gained deep self awareness, identifying strengths, understanding identity and conflict, to building facilitation and negotiation skills.”
The program was held at Dr. Modi’s Nature Resort in the foothills of the Western Maharashtra Ghats, which offered the participants a camp-like environment.
