Leadership for a Connected and Complex World
In a time of increased polarization, the need for leaders who can navigate conflicts constructively—within workplaces or across societies—has never been greater. Since 1993, Seeds of Peace has been cultivating a global network of leaders capable of engaging in dialogue to solve complex issues. With more than 8,000 graduates from 27 countries, Seeds of Peace alumni are driving economic, social, and political change.
“Skills of empathy, dialogue, cross-cultural understanding, embracing and celebrating differences are instilled in teens in Seeds of Peace programs … These skills are as relevant in classrooms as they are in boardrooms, political offices, arts and culture and media today. These skills help us build a more resilient, equitable, and just future.”
— 1995 Seed and current business leader
Model & Programs
With its flagship summer camp for young leaders from the Middle East, Seeds of Peace set the standard in people-to-people peacebuilding and expanded to include youth from South Asia, the Balkans, Cyprus, United States, and United Kingdom. Its dialogue-rooted, action-driven program for teenagers develops personal leadership, builds relationships grounded in trust and empathy, and increases commitment to work for positive change. Its alumni program accelerates the impact and influence of emerging leaders as they gain influence in their societies—as diplomats and elected officials; founders of companies and nonprofits; journalists and filmmakers; principals and teachers.
Scaling Impact
In 2025, Seeds of Peace is looking for partners to expand access to its proven methods for equipping leaders with dialogue as a 21st century technology and skill for bridging divides and navigating differences. Its new online platform, Dialogue Academy, promises to bring these critical skills to thousands more youth.
In response to high demand from schools, Seeds of Peace adapted its methods to train teachers and students in how to engage in dialogue across differences, support critical thinking, and activate empathy. Through these trainings and ongoing coaching, Seeds of Peace is building a global network of Seed Schools dedicated to the values and practices of dialogue. Similarly, companies and organizations outside of the educational system are partnering with Seeds to bring dialogue training to their employees. These partnerships will scale impact across sectors, providing current leaders with the necessary tools for leading across differences into a more connected tomorrow.
