Greetings from Seeds of Peace!
Just a quick note to share the poignant remarks of David Remnick, The New Yorker editor and keynote speaker at the Seeds of Peace annual Benefit Dinner on May 26, 2010.
Describing Seeds of Peace as “multiculturalism at its best,” Remnick said,
“Seeds of Peace is about turning other people … the great scary “other”… into human beings, one person at a time. It is about learning to talk across the great gulfs of language, culture and politics … Seeds of Peace is not the only organization trying to bridge these gulfs of understanding in history, but it is among the very best I know.”

Thanks to your support, in just two weeks, over 300 young people from the Middle East and South Asia—selected from the over 8,000 that applied—will begin the transformative experience that Remnick describes.
Please join me in welcoming our newest Seeds to Camp this summer by sending your own personal message—I look forward to sharing more about their important journey in the weeks to come.
With excitement and appreciation,
