Dear Friends,
2010 has started in a big way for Seeds of Peace!
Last week, Seeds graduates in Jerusalem and Haifa launched advanced dialogue groups for younger Israeli and Palestinian Seeds. The ongoing meetings, which bring Palestinians from the West Bank together with their Israeli counterparts, are at the core of the organization’s commitment to continuing the dialogue process begun at Camp.
In early January, eleven Pakistani Seeds and two adult educators traveled to India to participate in the 2010 Indo-Pak Homestays Program. The Pakistanis were hosted by the families of their Indian Seed friends for a unique week of workshops, speakers and program development.
As part of a series of awareness events in London, an Israeli and a Palestinian Seed sat down in the BBC World Service studios to share their experiences at Camp and back home with a worldwide radio audience.
Today is the last day of Facebook voting in the Chase Community Giving Challenge. Over the past six weeks, this challenge has energized the Seeds of Peace family around the globe and inspired our graduates to share their experiences in new ways. Learn more about how these Seeds have reached out to their communities.
Seeds of Peace has received over 9,000 votes this week, and we still have ONE DAY LEFT to make the most of this unprecedented opportunity. Our Board has generously agreed to donate $1 to Seeds of Peace for every vote we receive through this challenge. Your impact is guaranteed—and it’s easy to participate. Vote here!
This is only the beginning. From all of us at Seeds of Peace thank you for your continued support.
Gratefully,
Leslie Adelson Lewin
Executive Director
