Mariam is a passionate facilitator, community builder, and advocate for social change. Born and raised in Tira, her rich Palestinian-European heritage has shaped her dynamic approach to bridging perspectives and fostering connection. After four years as a dentist, Mariam transitioned into environmental studies at the Arava Institute, reflecting her drive to challenge norms and inspire transformation.
Mariam’s work centers on creating compassionate, sustainable communities where healing, growth, and dialogue thrive. She facilitates spaces that embrace complexity and encourage curiosity, helping youth develop critical thinking and explore new realities. Her experience includes serving twice as a dialogue facilitator at the Seeds of Peace Camp in Maine.
Guided by her connection to the natural world and her belief in the power of “What if?” Mariam brings resilience, joy, and a vibrant spirit to her mission of building better futures and empowering others to reimagine what’s possible.
