JERUSALEM | Sixty-five Israeli Seeds and friends took part in the city of Haifa’s Holiday of Holidays festival on December 12. The annual celebration marks the coincidence of multiple major Christian, Muslim, and Jewish holidays in December.
Seeds of Peace partnered with the Beit HaGefen Arab-Jewish Cultural Center in Haifa to run activities during the festival to raise awareness about Seeds of Peace’s mission and work.
“Watching the Seeds engage with visitors, telling them about us and our work was very inspiring,” said Seeds of Peace Middle East Programs Director Maayan Poleg.
“One Seed described to a family asking questions about us how much Seeds of Peace has impacted her life and made her the person she is today.”
Seeds of all ages helped organize the event, allowing different generations to meet each other.
“It’s so nice to get to know more people from my Seeds of Peace family!” said one younger Seed.
